Happy birthday, Denia

SPOILER WARNING: 3.3 Segue: Beneath a Melting Sky.
I will be talking about Wuthering Waves' latest main quest story, 3.3 segue: "Beneath a Melting Night Sky". Screenshots are personally taken by me and contain major spoilers of the quest. Please proceed with caution.

I'm so happy I came back to playing Wuthering Waves again. I'm also just in time to experience firsthand about Lahai-Roi and witness the rest of the story, too. It truly felt magical, just like how I first stepped foot in Rinascita. Sad part was I left before the false God / Septimont arc (I don't really remember) due to my phone issues before, but hopefully now, I'll stick around longer.
Anyway, the 2nd phase of the banners were released yesterday and introduced a new Resonator called Denia. It's also the 3.3 segue release which conveniently focuses on Denia's backstory and we could see what the Fractsidus are really up to. Especially the Grand Architect. Man, I hate that motherfucker's ass so bad (they're a really well-written villain character so far!).
Without spoiling much, everything felt right. The pacing of the story was clear and direct, and not to mention the touch of horror elements on one part of the story. I gotta say, my heart was racing so fast during that part (I conveniently played it at dawn, too 🙂), and I still was scared about it lol. I mean, look, who wouldn't get creeped out by this??
These "dolls" moves so fast when you take your eyes off of them, I was caught once and nearly jumped out of my seat from the slight jumpscare lol. Other players commented how it felt like a Silent Hill / weeping angel type of gameplay and I'm not complaining.
And for this quest, I could truly sympathize Denia. It wasn't rushed and the way she explained how she "hated" the Rover was something even I couldn't blame her for thinking like that. Their meeting truly was never fair. And the way that Denia was the complete opposite of Aemeath, too. My poor girl. Of course, I left her "weird" birthday cake (but really, it was all filled with things that Sigrika would like, especially the oranges ☹️).
Of course, as a commemoration, I had to pull for her and her weapon (I got lucky on the weapon banner; got it early within 10 pulls, yippee!)
And somehow, I got slightly bored and curious since I have a few asterites lying around (side note: I'm saving up for Luuk since I missed him; I wasn't back yet during his banner), I decided to do a few pulls on Denia's banner and got lucky: got her S1!
Now I'm kind of broke and my Luuk funds are in danger, but I'll leave that problem to future M. Honestly, I'm genuinely happy and excited for the future quests seeing that Kuro Games has been cooking since 2.5.
Man, am I craving for a cake...
